Used Log Splitters

I have a Didier hydraulic log splitter that pressurizes the tank and blows fluid out the breather. What’s up?

Even after relieving the pressure and turning the machine off, it will
re-pressurize the hydraulic tank. Pump or ram problem?

I would say that the tank has too much fluid. It also could be a faulty relief valve.
