Buddy, that is almost the coolest “homemade” thing I’ve ever seen.
This thing is ridiculous. What even more ridiculous is that they don’t have someone in the cab with their foot neat the brakes and watching, in case something goes terrible wrong.

@psychomikeo500 Like straight to the friggin’ emergency room? This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever seen. You can get a good splitting maul with a fiberglass handle for about sixteen dollars. They’re faster – and about a hundred times safer. Hell, a maul would be safer if you held the firewood in your teeth as you split ‘em. Get rid of this death machine before you kill or maim yourself.

@7777dmith7777 My uncle had his jaw broken several years ago when one of these hit a knot and spun around and hit him in the face. He had is lower jaw wired to his upper jaw for 6 months while it healed. I believe once he regained use of his jaw, he sold the unicorn and bought a regular hydraulic splitter.
